TEMPORARY CHANGES

First off, let me appologize for the last journal. Apparently I deleted some html and didn't realize it. Ophelia and I both tried to fix it, but it just wouldn't load right. The preview was fine,but the actual update was just the rabbit pic. *grrr* We thought it might have been a bug in dA's system or something which is why I waited a day or so to see if it would fix itself, but it didn't. So I finally just deleted that journal and copy and pasted another one so that I didn't have to do a whole new code thing for the journal. I think it looks fine like it is...
NOW ON TO BUSINESS
I just wanted to let you all know
that OpheliaWhispers has been a little under the weather lately and has asked if I could take charge of the club for awhile. Hence, the slowness of responses and such, because she is ill at present. So I told her I would help as much as I could. I wanted to thank you all so much for your entries to the latest challenge I put up and they have now been placed in our gallery. Just for the record, when you submit art and poetry together, it really takes some doing for me to get them entered into our gallery, but I finally figured out how to do it I think...phew
Also, I think it's time for a new contest, it's been awhile since we had one. So if you guys have any suggestions/ideas on a new contest theme, I'm all ears....I was thinking maybe TweedleDee and TweedleDum, what do you all think of that one? I would like to get it under way by the middle of next week...Please feel free to let me know what you all think.
And lastly, I know we have new members to enter into our members section, and as soon as I can figure out who was the last one put in, I will enter the rest. The new deviations for the challenges section have been entered already, and I think they were great. Thank you so much for the submissions for that. If you have any suggestions for new challenges or contests, or anything else for that matter that will keep the club going, just let me know. Ophelia has put alot,alot of work into this club and I hate to see it die... Thank you all for reading. Kori/Shivarra

QueenOfHeartsByElphabaThroppWhite roses. It was all the white roses. I was not always this way, no no such thing. They loved me, they all did. I recieved presents and visitors every day.
I was hailed and worshipped by all. Especially him. He loved me most of all.
But why shouldn't he? He was my king, afterall. It was my duty to love him, and
his to love me.
Oh how I loved him. I proved it day and night, I did everything he wished. I
gave my heart to him. I even killed for him. All for love.
But he betrayed my love. He broke my trust and my faith. All because of her, the
woman with those hideous roses.
This is unforgiveable.
So I broke him the way he broke me. I cut his beating heart from his very chest,
and I keep it here in this chest under lock and key. No woman will steal his heart from me again.
I watched him bleed. I saw him die. That too broke me. So I decided to never be broken again.
I cut out my own heart.
Here it stays, locked right next to him.
Now they say I'm cold, but it was he who was cold. He made

If by chance you do not know this character from the book (and many movies) "Alice In Wonderland" please Google it or Note the Club with any questions
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN THIS PARTICULAR CONTEST IS AN ORIGINAL VERSION OF THE QUEEN OF HEARTS, SO LOOK THROUGH YOUR BOOKS, WATCH YOUR MOVIES AND GET A FEEL FOR HER.... THEN CREATE A PIECE OF ART THAT BRINGS ACCROSS HER PERSONALITY, HER QUIRKS, HER SAYINGS... WHATEVER YOU SEE IN HER THAT WOULD BEST SHOW HER IN AN ORIGINAL WAY.NOW GO MAKE THOSE DEVIATIONS!! (OR IT IS OFF WITH YOUR HEADS)!
